Suddenly my mind wanders into a zone,
not noticing where this trip is taking me.
Feeling like a hobo that long ago lost his home,
wishing I could reach my destination finally.
Overcoming what feels to be mysterious,
as we all try to learn life and it's essentials.
We all must cherish the moments and take this living serious.
One blink of an eye is all it takes to lose your potentials.
Quickly disappearing like the lands that once belong to Indians.
There it goes fading away day by day.
Everything changing, like the kids today not knowing the value of friends,
hoping they gain conscious and let leadership pave the way.
Soon this will make sense and be quit uplifting ,
let your dreams become reality by stopping yourself from drifting.

IT'S JUST ME" BY DARRON K. HUMPHREY
Lying here troubling myself with madness on my mind.
Emotionally screwed up in the brain and going insane.
Upset and pissed off at the world.
Is it something I'm not seeing?
Am I going blind?
Intense with anger punishing me;
when I should change.
Mentally not prepared for the harm I'm causing myself.
Moody at times and feeling heartless in the end.
Rage and pain is the pair I'm always dealt.
My temper allows my demons to come in and seek revenge.
At times I feel like a maniac, "in joust" with "I don't know who".
Out of control, holding a grudge, furiously feeling violent,
Deceiving myself to believe that I don't have a clue of what to do.
No one to talk to so my brain races while I stay silent.
My time running out; I'm growing grey and getting weak at the knees.
Is stress taking me down?
Is it psychological?
It's just me?
